Why am I still struggling, I really do want to lose the weight, but it is frustrating when you feel you are trying your best and see no changes.  The last 2 weeks I go up a pound or two then lose a pound or two, so basically staying the same weight.  Was very happy from Oct. to Dec. when I lost 12 pounds, then Jan. only lost a pound, and now just seem to be stuck.  Sorry I have no incouraging news for anyone.  Not giving up, just feeling a bit defeated, guess we all have those times.  Maybe need to set smaller goals for myself. Hope you all are having better days.

Sometimes our body's hit a plato (not sure how to spell it correctly) and a change is needed. Not necessarily more effort, just a change in what is being done so it can respond again. It's now the new norm for your body. When you were 12lbs heavier you actually burned more calories doing normal activities because you had extra weight to haul around, pump blood and nutrients to. So we typically have to continue to reduce the normal calorie intake as we progress. Try recording your food for a couple days, get an idea of what calorie count you are at. Try to substitute 1 thing a day into something less calories, like less rice/grain/dairy for that meal. Not sure what else can be done but hopefully a tweak will get everything going again. Keep your head up. You are still doing great things for yourself! xoxo

I was just there... and turned a corner. Believe in you. You all helped me through my defeated feelings. After a significant weight loss, I think it is a positive thing to be maintaining it. Your efforts are not in vain.

Thank you ladies for your kind words. It took me 10 years to gain 20 pounds, guess it's gonna take a little time to lose it. I am not giving up.
