Happy Friday ladies. Well this week I have been doing my shakes every morning and having my veggie lunch in the afternoons and then a normal dinner.  And was happy to see the scale this morning, lost another pound.  I feel so much better when I pay attention to what I am eating.  Exercising is my biggest problem right now with all my back/neck problems I am having.  Had my MRI today and will get results on Feb. 10, so until I know whats going on I am going to take it easy.  I did walk to pick up my grand son from school this week since the weather was so nice, only about a 20 minute walk, but better than nothing.  I will be turning the big 60 in June and I think that is helping me push on to lose the weight.  I am 5 ft, 9 in. tall and started my challenge in Oct. at 182 and today was 166.4, my goal is to see the 150's.  Fingers crossed.
Hope you all have a fantastic week end.

Friday blog.  Trying to stay on track with the weekly blog. Weighed in this morning and have gained a pound and a half, poo.  But it's my own fault, been stressed about home stuff and some pain that I have been in, so I think I tend to snack on things that I know are not good for me.  Saw my doctor today and had exrays done and now they are setting up an MRI, doctor thinks I have a herniated disc in my cervical spine, so might be needing surgery.  So with this new info I need to focus more than ever, don't want this to slow me down with my dieting, but may need to be more careful with what I do for exercise, and probably should stop picking up my grand daughter so much, that's gonna be a hard one since she is living with us right now.  I am still pleased with the process I have made, since October I was at 182 and I am today 170, last Friday I was at 168.  Having this blog to vent a bit and keep track of myself and others I think will make me try harder to stay on track.  Hope you all have a fantastic week end.

Well hello ladies, I finally have my blog up and running, with the help of my sister in law, Cindy (thanks so much).
I have accepted this new challenge, and hope to make some positive changes in my health, mentally and physically.  I have already lost 12 pounds with my last 3 month challenge and that has made me realize that I really can do it.  I just need to keep myself focused on me for a change instead of everyone else.
The holidays were a bit challenging with all the yummy food and treats that were available, but now it's about getting back on track.  I want to work some more exercise into my daily routine, keep better track of what I am eating, and try to keep a better attitude every day.
Having this blog and reading what others have to say will also help me move in the right direction.
