Back from vacation in Maui. To much eating, drinking and laying on the beach. Now it's time to get serious about eating right and exercising. Put on 3 pounds, yuck. Starting Saturday it's back to the gazelle twice a day, drinking more water and watching what I eat. Will be going on an Alaska cruise in June of 2011 and would love to drop 20 pounds (more if I can).

Sept. Stuff
So far September has been a difficult month. I have not been exercising much at all. Just to much going on in my life so it is easy to make excuses as to why I am not exercising or watching what I eat. We (my husband and our best friends Janis and Forrest) are leaving for Maui for a 10 day getaway on Monday the 27th. So looking forward to getting away and leaving my worries behind for a bit.
My goal is to when we get back (because I know while we are gone I will be eating to much, drinking to much and NOT exercising) is to get back on track. Hopefully all the stuff that has been going on will be settled down and October will be a new start. Need to eat healthier, drink more water and work out for at least an hour a day 5 days a week, we all need a break one or two days a week, right?
Hope everyone is keeping up on their goals. Fall is finally here and I want to have a better out look on life.
I will check back in in about 2 weeks.

PS: My weight this week was 176.4, so I have gained a tiny bit.

September Blog
Well I am late on our blog again. Been a rough week for me. Came down with a cold on Monday, so was crabby and tired and full of snot for 3 days, but feeling much better, forgot to weigh in on Wed, babysat on Thursday and now my back has flared up again, having a lot of pain and numbness down my left leg. I did have an MRI last Monday, showed 2 bulging discs that are pressing on a nerve, so I am now scheduled for epidural injections (set of 3 over 6 week period). Needless to say my weight is going no where but up, 177.6 this morning.
So my goal now is to get back to some easy exercises, drink more water and watch my portions of food. Oh, and we also had 3 birthday party's the last two weeks and I CANNOT pass up cake and ice cream, but no more birthdays til December so I can't use that as an excuse.
Hoping every one much success with their weight loss, and living a more healthy life style.
And everyone have a safe and fun Labor Day week-end.

new to blogging
Well Cindi got my blog up and running and now to make the commitment to keep blogging will be up to me. The last 10 days have been a challenge for me, I quit watching what I was eating and have not exercised the last week. Cindi was here in Lodi for a few days then Bryan and I went to Oregon to see Cindi and Marty and their new kitchen. Even though Cindi has this new beautiful kitchen we still ate out to often, drank to much soda and snacked to much. I was afraid to weigh in but finally did this morning and I gained a pound and a half. So as of today I have gotten back on track, Maui is only 5 weeks away so I am committed to losing 5 or more pounds.
